On the battlefield they are like incarnations of the valkyries, fighting with sword and spear at the side of their leader. In peacetime, these women serve as bodyguards in the households of highborn families, and sometimes as guardians of sacred places.
Shieldmaidens (Tier 5) - Available April 19: The armed wing of the cult of Freyja, goddess of love, fertility, sex, war, gold, and magic. Berserkers carry two axes, eschewing shields as being unworthy of a warrior who seeks to live forever in Valhalla. 
When the fighting begins they are almost suicidally brave, with each warrior striving to outdo his comrade in ever more desperate displays of courage.
Berserkers (Tier 4) - Available March 29: Fearsome warriors, noteworthy for entering into trances before battle by consuming particular plants unique to their land. In battle, the Sons move in packs in an uncanny, loping manner, and leap into combat with seemingly no regard for pain. Sons of Fenrir (Tier 3) - Available now: Feared and despised in equal measure, these wayward Northmen dwell in forest camps and carry out forbidden rituals to offer their souls to Fenrir, the mythical wolf bound in chains, in exchange for physical power. Meet your enemy in battle with the might of a new faction on your side: Northmen! Three Viking-inspired units can be unlocked by completing Unit Challenges throughout Season VII: Begin your saga in one of two regions - Ostaria or Anadolou - and stop Ragnarok between now and June 17! Armed with axe, shield, and the thunderous fury of the Allfather, you must set out to save the land from destruction in an all-new Campaign featuring new Seasonal Challenges, godly rewards from the Battle Pass, and a climactic battle for Turul Város.
